Delivery Information

Non Delivered Items / Lost in Post – Many years of experience have taught us that if an item is inadvertently misdirected in the post, it can take up to 10 days to reach it intended destination within the UK (20 days International or Europe) For this reason, Glass Restore – Trade operates a 10 day ‘Lost in Post’ policy. This is measured from the date of dispatch. It is unusual for items to go astray in the post as Royal Mail are usually very reliable. If your item/s have still not arrived with you after this 10 day period, please contact us and we will issue a replacement or refund to you dependant on stock levels.

Faulty Items – On occasion, as with any retailing business, an item may appear to be faulty. In this event, you should return the item to us to be tested. Should the item prove to be faulty, we will replace or refund the item as appropriate. Items that prove not to be faulty will be returned you. You will be kept informed throughout this process. To ensure that items being returned reach us safely, please send them via recorded mail.

We only accept returns authorised by staff at Glass Restore – Trade Ltd. Any returns sent back without prior notification will not be accepted and retuned to sender. Please mark the returned items for the attention of Customer Services, Glass Restore – Trade Ltd, Keppenburn Workshops, Unt 4, Main Road, Fairlie, Ayreshire, KA29 0AS.  Please list the a short description of the reason for return.

Disclaimer – Glass Restore – Trade will not be responsible for any items being returned to us that are not received or that are not returned in the correct manner. We are not responsible for any losses in the mail while returning returned items. Any returned items that show signs of abuse or intentional damage will be refused and retuned at the senders own cost.

Product Information – All product information relating to products we sell through our websites is provided by the manufactures

Payment – Glass Restore – Trade does not offer accounts. All sales are treated as ‘Cash Sales’ and as such, no goods will be dispatched until payment has been received. All delivery of goods as specified in the company’s sales order will be deemed to have been received and accepted by the purchaser unless notification of non-delivery or fault has been received by the company within 10 working days of the invoice date (20 working days for European and International Customers).

No liability is accepted for loss arising from any delay arising from any delay in dispatch or delivery however caused.

Glass Restore – Trade shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage whatsoever direct or indirect, arising out of any defect in the goods sold, unless such loss, injury or damage is caused by the negligence, act or omission or wilful default of the company.

The terms and conditions of Trade shall in all respects be governed and constructed in accordance with English Law.

Shipping within the UK

At Glass Restore – Trade, we aim to use the most reliable and cost effective methods to ensure that your purchase reaches you quickly and safely.

In most cases we use Royal Mail 1st Class for all items under 2 Kilos to be delivered in the UK. Postage charges are calculated by the total weight of the order.

For orders over 2 Kilos, we dispatch orders via Initial City Link Couriers. This service guarantees next day delivery, before 17.30 – Monday – Friday. This service is not available on Saturdays, any purchase made after 2pm on a Thursday afternoon will be delivered on the following Monday.

Please note that we will only become aware of an order not being delivered, once you have informed us that it has not arrived.

European and International Shipping

We are happy to ship items into Europe and beyond. In most cases we use Royal Mail 1st Class for all items under 2 Kilos to be delivered Internationally and into Europe. Shipping charges are calculated by the total weight of the order. Orders will be shipped up to 2 Kilos and in multiples of 2 Kilo parcels thereafter.

For Large or Trade Orders – alternative shipping methods are available and quotes for this can be provided on request.
